To start, let's talk about how sad it was to see all my good friends go. Hahaha that was probably one of the hardest things I've done here on the mission. Taking the people that I served with and knew super well to the airport and saying goodbye. That was pretty rough. I had some good friends in there like Elder Howell (the secretary that picked me up when I first got here and has always been a huge bro to me), Elder Da Cruz (Elder Stevens old comp that we used to go over and sleep over in their house when we were in Dondo without water), Elder Brocheir (also a bro), Elder Barreri (the elder that I spent a week with in Maputo when I first got here and we took a 24 hour long car ride together to our areas), Elder Souza (the elder with whom I did my very first division), Elder Stegman and Elder Pedroso (our last AP's which we have talked a ton with since getting in the office), and then the hardest of them all, Elder Allsop from utah but he was different because his parents came to pick him up and wow.... when him and his mom hugged, hahaha super awesome moment.
Then the other days in between we had a ton of people switching areas and stuff to try and fill in for the people that were leaving and wow, so many flights and organization and good stuff like that. We definitely pulled two consecutive all nighters driving people around and picking up flights and that jazz. So I don't think I have ever been that tired in my entire life.
Then we also had an American named Elder Hansen from Texas, Elder Torres from Costa Rica and Elder Souza from Brazil that came in as newbies.
We gave sometrainings and it was a jolly time. Also CHALITO GOT BAPTIZED IT WAS SO AWESOME! We had a hard time getting the interview worked out and all but in the end, everything was good and we had an amazing baptism!
We also had a great story this last week where we came back home and someone had broken into our house, stole our gas cans(empty), our ironer(broken) and some of my personal items. But in all honesty we both were super disappointed in the lack of thievery skills that these people had. Like we totally had a ton of money sitting everywhere and awesome stuff that definitely worked but nope, they happened to steal everything that was broken.... so Parabens (congratulations).....hahaha.
But besides that the only other news is that our president decided that our mission didn't need secretaries and AP's so he got rid of AP's in the mission and just gave us their responsibilities, soooo dope i'm like a kinda, sorta, AP/secretary/driver/travelplanner. But hey, no complaints the mission is awesome and I love that opportunity to help the mission run smoothly. Sometimes it just costs a little bit of sleep to keep it well oiled;) But really, I'm super happy and excited for what's to come. Stay good meus!
