Anyways, this last week we had a meeting for all of the district leaders in the mission to do a training. So I got to see tons of my Mission friends here in Maputo like my first Comp Elder Cox and then my first field comp Elder Flitton. it was a ton of work organizing everything and making sure everyone got here alright and that they all got home but in the end everything ran smoothly, except for when our pump for our missionary hotel decided it didn't want to work for the exact three days we had everyone there. After they all left the problem magically disappeared so that was super cool.
One cool experience was when I went with Elder Flitton and Stevens to drop off some other district leaders in their areas and we went to a restaurant to buy some food, we had this guy stop me and Elder Flitton and ask about Tithing. We talked with him, found out he had already read the book of mormon, prayed about it, and felt that it was true. He just didn't know what to do about it and of course we were super happy to try and help him find out! hahaha how crazy is that. The Lord prepares and we are just lucky enough to be a bypasser along the way that can point out the right direction. I love Mozambique.
Also Brother Root, the head of security here at the U.S. Embassy, invited us over for lunch and we talked a lot with him and his wife about his super rad life and all, and he also showed us his DRAGON OF A DOG hahaha he is so massive. They said he weighs 170 pounds and wow he is just massive. A picture of said dog will follow.
But overall that was my week. We taught some people last week that we thought were super cool, they accepted the lesson and seemed to understand everything but they just couldn't get themselves to show up at church.
Love you all. Moms are the best. Love you Mom! See yall next week(figuratively)
